My First Blog Post: Why Pillowed in Faith Was Born

There are seasons in life where you don’t feel strong—you feel held.

Held by prayer.

Held by hope.

Held by the quiet knowing that God is still present, even when everything feels uncertain.

That is where Pillowed in Faith was born.

This book didn’t come from a place of perfection or arrival. It came from moments when faith was all I had left to lean on. When answers were delayed. When clarity didn’t come quickly. When I had to learn how to rest my heart on God instead of my understanding.

Faith Isn’t Always Loud

Sometimes faith looks like whispered prayers.

Sometimes it looks like tears.

Sometimes it looks like choosing to trust God even when you don’t feel Him moving.

I’ve learned that faith isn’t always bold or confident. Sometimes it’s quiet obedience. Sometimes it’s simply saying, “God, I don’t know what You’re doing—but I trust You anyway.”

That kind of faith changes you.

Writing Through the Process

Writing Pillowed in Faith required honesty. I had to be willing to tell the truth about the moments I wanted to give up, the moments I questioned myself, and the moments when God met me right where I was.

This book is not about having it all together.

It’s about learning how to lay your burdens down.

It’s about finding peace when life feels heavy.

It’s about choosing faith when fear is loud.
